The BypassSecurityDialog option

When you Afterburn an Authorware file, you may notice that by default, there is a line in the map file:


opt win BypassSecurityDialog=TRUE

This will not in any case allow your map file to download files to the user's hard drive without their permission. What this option does do is prevent the map file from displaying the "Trust this site?" dialog when the map file is loaded. If the dialog does not appear, then the user would only see an error if (a) the Authorware file attempts to access one of the restricted variables or functions, or (b) the map file causes an attempted download of any file other than a segment (.AAS) file.
