如何本地调试shocked Authorware files
People often wonder how they can test their shocked Authorware files without going through the trouble of uploading them to a Web server.
You can launch an Authorware map file (on Macintosh or Windows) following these steps: 1 Launch Netscape Navigator.
Note: Make sure everything works in Netscape before trying Internet Explorer - Internet Explorer is much more strict about HTML coding and relative path syntax.
2 Drag your map file icon onto the browser window.
3 If you are not prompted by the security dialog, you may need to hold the Control key, and click the Reload button in the browser controls.
4 Also try these steps with your HTML file, to ensure that your HTML syntax is correct.
If your file works fine when running locally, but not after you upload it to a server, the problem is usually one (or both) of the following: The server MIME types have not been defined properly. If your MIME types are not defined properly, you will probably get either (or both) a broken puzzle piece icon on the page, or an error that states " could not open file with MIME type of text/HTML".
See Configuring Your Server for Shockwave for more information.
Uploading the file incorrectly. When uploading the file to your server via ftp protocol, you should transfer all files as binary ( "raw" data) files - even files specified as MacBinary in your map file.
