Authorware 6.5 provides direct support for Macromedia Flash MX vector graphics and animations, so you can integrate powerful Macromedia Flash animations into your Authorware applications. Support for Macromedia Flash MX gives you access to a powerful, timeline-based environment for creating sophisticated animations. You can import and control Macromedia Flash animations within Authorware. In addition to zooming, scaling, playing, and pausing Macromedia Flash content, Authorware can capture and respond to events, seamlessly integrating Macromedia Flash animations.

4、 XML Support

Integrate XML-based information into your Authorware applications. Import external data using web-standard XML files. Parse and use information stored in XML documents to create dynamic, data-driven applications with the XML scripting Xtra. Easily integrate information from other sources using this broadly adopted document format.

5、 Authorware Application Accessibility
Make your learning applications accessible to all end-users. Use Authorware Application Accessibility to tap into Knowledge Objects, Commands, models, and techniques to make text audible; run movies with captions; create accessible user interfaces, menus, and quizzes; and more. Automatically detect the text-to-speech facilities already installed in the end-user's computer, including JAWS and WindowEyes.

6、 Enhanced Calculation Editor
The Enhanced Calculation Editor provides syntax highlighting, formatting, and other useful features for authors scripting within the Authorware Calculation icon.

7、 User-Defined Script Functions
Create powerful functions using new user-defined script functions that can be stored internally or externally, and shared with others. User-defined script functions shrink the size of scripts, improve maintainability, and bring new power to the Authorware scripting language. Now, several new functions are available to make your Commands and Knowledge Objects more versatile.

8、 Non-Modal Commands Added
New non-modal Commands make it much easier to write and use Commands such as the improved spell checker, bug trackers, importers, and other types of aids.

9、 Additional Properties Exposed
Easily develop extensible content with more than 35 additional properties now open—for a total of 150. Now, nearly every icon property accessible through a dialog has been exposed. One of the keys to extensibility is to open as many properties of each Authorware icon as possible. Authorware and Delphi developers can write powerful course-building tools that use these open properties to offer more power and efficiency to Instructional Designers and Subject Matter Experts.

10、 Extensible Commands Menu
Launch the RTF Objects Editor or the Find Xtras command from the Commands menu. Leverage over 35 new open properties to create your own custom commands. Authorware recognizes any packaged Authorware file in the "Commands" directory and automatically adds it to your Commands menu.

我已经在Macromedia网站下载了，但根本不是6.5，仍然是6.0。不知为什么？

Authorware 的Logo和MX系列是一样的了，没有去看Director，大概也一样。
