In the keynote at the first day of the FlashForward Conference, Macromedia announced and showed off PS2 content produced with Flash. Not only any content, in fact, most of the UI on LucasArts first PS2-game is made entirely in Flash by San Francisco company Secret Level.

A representative of LucasArts pointed out that this will significantly reduce the time needed to develop User Interfaces for game and create localized versions of games. LucasArts can now easily let 3 part companies create these interfaces and let the development team focus on the main game itself.

Nothing was announced about playback speeds and such, but having a PS2 at home ourselves, we know this is going to revolutionize Flash gaming as we know it!
