    Unpack and install maya with the setup.exe
    select Maya Unlimited
    When asked about if you received a Licence CD
    for maya, say no. And proceed with floating
    license setup. Say that you dont have a license
    NOTE THE HOSTID IF YOUR COMPUTER HERE!
    Needed for later use. Reboot.

    Then unpack the keygen into a dir, and edit
    the lic.txt to your hostid and computer name
    if you forgot to write down the hostid, get
    it from x:\AW\COM\bin and run lmtools, and
    get it from system settings or run the lmutil.exe
    in a console box with the following syntax:
    "lmutil lmhostid"
    run makelic.bat and aw1.dat will be created.
    
    Now time to setup flexlm license server, copy the
    aw1.dat to x:\aw\com\etc and goto control panel
    select system, and make a new environment variable
    called LM_LICENSE_FILE make it point to the aw1.dat
    and then open the flexlm applet, and setup the licensing
    - Start server and you are now ready to run Maya 3.01!
