大意是提供企业及的创作和出版解决方案。。。也就是包含了Word的类似文字处理功能，但可以拿去印刷、输出成最新的PDF格式，也可以导出为Web的html格式。。。。。。支持XML...对于大企业制作说明文档最方便。。。。。举例来说，我想做一个400页的电子和印刷格式说明文档，一般是用word先打好字，然后在PM中排版，加图片。。。最后导出。。。是不是很麻烦。。。直接用FM就OK了。。。厉害的地方是这个说明文档（PDF格式的）还可以包含声音，影象等资料。。。这些都是用FM来做。。。厉害吧！

这个软件在国内比较少见。。。国内这方面的市场还比较小。。。

我有一套FM5.5光盘版的。。。从光盘甩卖的地方用2元钱买来的，界面有点象 Word...个人不是很喜欢。。。
