（53楼Jakers）Wow im impressed with how good some of your digital is, to me it feels like its ahead of your pencils.
What I don't see in the drawings is more solid rendering..even though they are fast. I do like the overall style of how you do it, and its getting MUCH better as seen in post # 50...but it seems you dont have as much focus when it comes to describing the forms.
If your going to try the cross-hatch style of quick shading, might I suggest that you further alternate and think about your angles a bit more (going 90 degress and making a checkboard pattern is kind of flat to me), it can be pretty powerful and descriptive if you stroke in the direction the form flows...might need to make your lines closer together so its more consistent.
Otherwise your new eye studies are pretty dead on, and your great at the non referenced faces at this stage!

如果你打算用交叉的平行线画出阴影，我建议你更多的交替线条而且角度多一点（90度递减还有画的格子图案对我来说跟平的一样），如果你每一笔的描绘都形成流动性方向，它可能会变的更有力度和描绘性，也许会让你的线条更紧密而且更连贯。
另外，你新研究的眼睛看起来漂亮死了，你那些没有参考的脸在这个阶段看来画非常的好

Jakers, thank you for coming back! About the digis, well I lack foundations in basically everything, but the the second half of the last year I worked almost only digital, so maybe that's the reason. Thanks for the advice regarding the pencil stuff! It's true, I LOVE the way cross hatching looks, I wanna learn that too, so your tips are most valuable, thanks! 、

Btw: Could you recommend some good anatomy books? (Is that Bammes book you often mention available in electronic format?) I already have that Loomis book Figure drawing for all it worth, but it focuses on the overall shape of the body and not on the body parts. So I could really use some recommendations.
